About the Team Fastrax Project

Formed in 2002, Team Fastrax was created to promote the sport of skydiving in a positive way.
The project started with Men's Four-Way Formation Team and has grown to include a Canopy Piloting Team and a Demonstration/Tandem Team.

Each member of the project is drug free and lives the vision of promoting our sport as professional athletes should, as role models and ambassadors of the skydiving community.

Each team is ranked among the highest in the world and strives for excellence in their personal and team training.

The team has a 3500 square foot fitness center, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, which was built specifically for members of the project and training takes place at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, AZ during the winter months and Start Skydiving in Middletown, OH during the summer.

The Men's Four-Way Team "FASTRAX" is made up of John Hart, Niklas Hemlin, Doug Park, Mark Kirkby and Steve Redinbo. The team trains full-time, making more than 1000 training jumps per year and trains in a wind tunnel an additional 50 hours per year. The team is training to win the men's competition at the 2006 US Nationals being held at Skydive Arizona in October 06. The team won the Bronze Medal at the 2004 US Nationals and placed fourth at the 2005 Anton Malevsky World Cup in Russia.

The 2006 line-up has a 5 time World Champion Mark Kikby and the current World Champion Doug Park on it. Both members have committed to the project through 2008.The Canopy Piloting Team SWOOP is made up of Brian McNenney, Scott Roberts and Kaz Sheekey. The team trains full-time and makes more than 700 training jumps per year. Canopy piloting is fast paced and a great deal of fun to watch. The members of this elite team are also professional demonstration skydivers that participate in high speed demonstrations.

The Demo/Tandem Team is one of our most active and visible teams throughout the world. The team is made up of David Hart, Gene Newsome, Mike Canary, Brian Marzluf, Bob Akers and Jay Stokes as well as John Hart from the Men's Four-Way Team and Brian McNenney, Scott Roberts and Kaz Sheekey from the Canopy Piloting Team.

This group of professionals perform all over the United States at professional Football and Baseball games, NCAA Division I Football games, NASCAR, IHRL, Major Air Shows, Symphony events, performed tandems with Past Presidents and many other high profile events. It is how our sponsors receive the greatest visibility.
The Tandem Team performs more than 100 charity tandems each year for organizations like the Make-a-Wish Foundation and donates tandems to charities for fundraising opportunities.
